Combustion Behavior and Kinetics Analysis of Isothermal Oxidized Oils from Fengcheng Extra-Heavy Oil

The low-temperature oxidation (LTO) of heavy oil is great significance for the combustion front stability, which directly influences efficiency and safety in-situ (ISC). To provide feasible heating by artificial ignition before implementation ISC in Xinjiang Fengcheng (FC) oilfields, this paper investigates behavior FC extra-heavy its isothermal oxidized oils. Firstly, was subjected to experiments conducted utilizing an reactor, physical properties gaseous products oils were analyzed. then studied non-isothermal thermogravimetry differential scanning calorimetry. Subsequently, Friedman Ozawa–Flynn–Wall methods adopted perform kinetic analysis. Oxygen consumption always greater than production CO CO2, so oxygen addition reactions main pathway LTO. H/C decreased 8.31% from 20.94% when temperature rose 50 °C 150 °C, deepened degree. density viscosity 200 350 increased at a slower rate, may be related LTO heat effect. change law interval, peak temperature, mass loss had good correlation with static temperature. Compared other oils, flow enthalpy significantly high-temperature combustion, 42.4 mW/mg 17.77 kJ/mol, respectively. activation energy began decrease obviously around conversion rate 0.4, indicates that it beneficial coke deposition stronger activity. Finally, we came up reaction mechanisms put forward reasonable preheating application oilfields.
